AI at its best is pretty nice and cool, but this is AI near its worst.
Also, truly sentient and perfected AI would be pretty much the same as a human, because the only thing we can make, would have intelligence of our highest level. So a "perfected" AI, is just a human. Because we dont know what perfect intelligence is. We cant create something smarter than us, because we'd have to program it to be able to figure out things we cant, and thats not possible because it'd take our own knowledge to do so!
