The definition of "Artist" is a person who is skilled in a task, so AI "artist" isn't really the correct term and is just there to boost 1's ego. You cannot be skilled at making AI art because you are not the one making it. You are just making a prompt. Same as an artist getting a prompt to draw. Sure, AI "artist" can do art that looks good however it cannot be seen as an "artist's work" because no one actually did it other than a machine.
I am not against the use of AI in art. Someone could ask AI to make an image and inspire to draw more from it as a prompt, or even use it as a cool drawing, however those who proclaims to be AI "artist" is just false and gets to a low point when one starts hurting an actual artist's feelings just to prove a point that doesn't need to even exist.
