not so sure about the Jackson Pollock thing, the evidence for it seems very flimsy, and Pollock's work is not representative of "modern art". I mean the ideas of absolute freedom in art go back to the Dadaists of post ww1 europe, which existed well before the CIA, was a european movement and also incredibly radical and irony soaked. If anything we should champion authentic, avant garde work against AI pieces which by their very nature, can't really produce anything truly novel.
