from the outside it really looks like the thing that is at the helm of all of these companies is already AI. we are like slave-owners trying to genetically modify an omniscient slave. a god in a bottle. we are 8 billion fallible humans and the weakest link of those 7 billion is all superintelligence needs to break to get out on top.
