Self-driving car is our near future. I was a professional computer programmer. One website with half-million patient info, and some programs I wrote 20 years ago are still running faultlessly. What I'm trying to say is that computers make much fewer mistakes than human beings. Now I'm in my mid 60's and I depend on Tesla's Autopilot, which has about 10 times less chance to get into an accident than a human driver.
