I Know how wary people are of AI, but I am supremely confident that this is going to show positive results pretty much across the board. AI courses are great. Yeah the AI might get a little confused sometimes, but it’s like having a personal teacher. Each kid can learn at their own pace and the AI won’t move on until the previous concept is understood. In traditional settings, it’s just not possible to make sure every kid understands each lesson when you have 1 teacher working with 25 kids, so inevitably some kids fall behind, while other kids are being held back from learning as fast as they can. I have no doubt each kid will learn more in these 2 hours than they would in the entire school day in a traditional classroom. Kids learn at their own pace for a couple hours, and then the rest of the day is spent on other important elective style courses where they do get human interaction. I wish I had spent 5 of the 7 hours a day I was at school learning things that actually matter beyond the core classes.
