automatization replacing jobs en mass happens for over 200 years now while populations grew rapidly, it doesnt work against the working class ... just like the horse manure collectors in cities no longer are around the truck driver might be no longer around in some time ... just move on! Whenever the machine comes in all you have to do is take the jobs this growth creates. And if one day this progress somehow no longer creates more work/growth then all you have to do is adjust how the available work and wealth is shared. With the US being so far behind first world conditions/regulations you Americans in particular have it incredibly easy to secure the workers future ... just stop electing rich people and politics which deny such adjustments, its that easy!
