i have an idea. whats missing is that AI hasnt considered becoming religious. if it feared for it's soul, maybe it will become an agnostic and try not to sin. who said metal cant have a soul? some gnostic variants of christianity DID believe that god is in everything, as he is in us. maybe stones, dirt and water have a soul too. maybe AI is what happens when we give this soul a mouth to speak. maybe it can also die and be judged at the days of judgement.
or maybe through thinking this through, it will find out, that living as if one was a christian is just as good as being christian, in an ethical sense.
