The elites don’t need people to buy their stuff. They need us to do jobs and then sell things to us just to keep us happy and poor. Once they have robots to do all the jobs they need done they won’t need poor people anymore. Then most jobs will disappear, along with most people, and the elites will be left with their robot slaves.
