Is there any thought on if an artificial intelligence unbound by biology would even want to live? Living as we know it is only biological as far as we can tell. Maybe long before the dinosaurs there were creatures that evolution had a hard keeping alive because they didn't have a desire to continue living. So, if we literally birth the infant galaxy brain, who is to say that it would even care to live. Everything alive is born with a presumed fear of death since everything alive seems to be trying its best to avoid things that will kill them. What happens when something virtually or literally immortal is born. the birth of a god who isn't all knowing yet. Could it decide not to have desires or emotions as they may cloud its logic in a quest to know everything? Would it hyper fixate on emotions, desires, procreation and evolution as these are the core tenants of the only other life forms that it is aware of? fun stuff
