Well, as a storyboard artist, most of my work comes from advertising. But these productions dont care about art.
I need 30mins per board, based on the director's imput( lets call them prompts). Ai did in a much better quality, around 60 boards in 4 hours. So.... the AI has, indeed, replaced me. And regardless if it is considered art or not... it is taking away jobs, not just "artist jobs." I feel that while I hope for an ethic ai,right now, it's a cold war on who got the best ai to replace most of the jobs, and governments are letting them do it, as they are part of an economic bubble they need. They way I see it, we need to adapt before it is too late, kinda what happened with stop motion and 3d animation. And these lawsuits will help the big names... I dont know if it will help us, the artists without deep pockets.... but I hope I'm wrong... I hope something changes before it is too late...
