It's 100 percent the same as what every artist has done prior, taking elements of one or more artists and rearranging it to make something new.
People are just up in arms because they don't understand how the art community changes with time.
Commissions happen all the time still and will always happen, and that is because you're commissioning the experience of the artist.
I value the art made by human hands more than the AIs, and that's because the artist has a story behind every stroke, the AI has the exact same code behind all its paintings.
AI art is a good tool, but it'll never replace the artist.
