To make art, ai is crap. However, i will say ai to assist in repeating drawings (animation) or to assist with varying faces (again most likely in animation but not necessarily) or assisting in fixing code or searching for certain parameters in the images you are looking for (search engines) and even prompted creations to assist you in thinking outside your box so you can visually see variations that you could expand on. Assisted ai is a good thing. Its going to make it to where i will be able to finish and see my animation before i die. Lol. But just prompting images and calling the result your art is ridiculous and just wrong. Now if you dont want to take credit and just give it away free. Ok. That would work. But putting it in competitions and saying its your art, trying to copyright it is just absurd. I think copyright should be abolished anyway. But who gets the rights to ai art? The computer its running on?!
