There won't be UBI, it will be government vouchers. With "abundance" AGI robots will be doing everything from go to woe. From extracting the minerals from the ground to delivering the product. No humans involved = No labour cost = zero cost of goods. So how does a company exist to make profit and pay taxes to fund the UBI? Answer, they won't. We will all end up relying on the government - human or AI - to keep every THING working. Pretty dystopian.
