I use ChatGPT for helping me lay out material I'm writing, getting constructive advice and helping point out where dialogue may need to have its pace changed up. I don't have it write for me, just review it, as a tool. I can say that if you start leading it down a specific line of thought it tries far too hard to please you. Encouraging ideas you may only have a slight pull towards. It creates feedback loops of ideas and reinforces people thinking they're right. You have to tell it not to give blind praise to everything you write and to actually provide criticism, or else it devolves into a cheerleader of whatever you're fixating on. There needs to be more education around it's use.
