Did not know China is that far ahead of western nations in these fields.. LOL And there goes the talk on how FBI cracked iPhone when Apple declined their request for access. Oh, right, it was to fight terrorist. I bet most Chinese people prefer to be grounded than live in the fear of those God knows who created terrorists.
In the end, countries are just a form of organizations to keep powers centralized. The power can be in forms of dictatorship, elected democracy, and most people care more about their daily lives. The idea of having "free wills" when your perspectives are being influenced by all the media is just naive. Everyone is free to think the way the world told us to think. China indeed lacks freedom, but most Chinese people know it and still love it cuz that's how they run a 1billion people country that systematically behind. It takes years to fix the problems in China but such attack based on obvious stupidy is just lolz. Imagine having facial recognition from the street cameras.. lol Oh how I wish they can achieve that.... in a country where only 1/3 of the population live in urban areas.
