You are anthropomorphizing the human mentality on to what is essentially an extremely complex abacus, a micro processor doesn't "need"or "want" for anything. AI is not life and has no agency. They can mimic life forms but it's people who create the ability to mimic. It's humanity we have to worry about and how we will use this technology.
