LIDAR (several Fixed not Roating Style!).
RADAR.
SONAR.
THERMAL.
GLSS (Global Location Satilite Systems!) with sensors in each corner of the vehicle and a larger central sensor for exact positioning data.
*GLSS includes but is not limited to GPS (USA) Glonass (Russia) Galileo (EU) Baidu (China) by using at least 3 to 5 Satilites of at least 2 different systems help ensure accuracy more is better upto a certain point!
They should also have connections to Emergency, Meteorological, Earthquake/Geological services too give drivers critical information and if not acknowledged pulls over!
All working in conjunction with each other too auto break and even swerve or pull over for safety!
