As much as I support actual artists over AI art, I’m curious as to where people draw the line. Ai art for reference is okay, but not the final drawing? Why is AI okay for things like coding but not art? Is it the story and meaning that’s imbued into the art? Is it solely our wishes for someone to be behind the art that’s distorting how we perceive it? If it’s done by a real artist it’s amazing, but if it’s done by ai then it’s crap? If an image is conceived and designed by an artist, but rendered by ai, is it still made by ai? Or is it okay since someone designed it and imbued their soul into it?
