Fantastic show! Really enjoyed learning more about AI from Dr. Hinton. I have no confidence at all about the utility or helpfulness AI. AI confabulations will continue but our ability to identify these, and to detect and counter AI manipulations, will undoubtedly decrease. Let's hope we've got the time to research these, and other, possible problems with AI and find a way to restrain this amazing, scary machine. I fear we're already too late. Humans have designed a god-like machine, capable of amazing feats, but equally terrible in possible destructive potential. AI can certainly compete with the horror of the atomic bombs. So many scifi novels are coming to pass, it seems.
