It would be extremely ironic (especially for Musk) if creating a true General AI ended up creating a civilization similar to that in the Ian M. Banks sci-fi The Culture book series. 😉
Edit to add... And yes, I am aware that Musk describes himself as a fan of that series. But assuming his statement was true (and that he wasn't just saying that for "nerd cred") I can only conclude he lacks the self-awareness to realize that he'd be one of the villains in the series.
