While the way it's being used is bad now, there's another problem with it. There's also a possibility that this technology could be used to spread fake controversy and misinformation. They could deepfake an idol's face onto a video of anything. Crimes being committed, hateful content, anything bad. And people who are unaware of deepfake technology might actually believe it. It's dangerous.
