a good way to tell if something is real or ai is look for consistent continuation of props. a lot of things can look fake if a photographer adjusts colors or lighting to make things pop, ai is often trained on those images because they're very clear and sharp, but what ai cant do is keep details about props consistent. this is because image AI doesn't actually understand what it's looking at, it doesn't see things as individual motifs but as large collections of points and values.
