you've also missed the point of it is not replicating just artists that are well known, or allow their art to be used to train these ais, but any artist that has their art online somewhere. so in a sense art AI is stealing from real artists, who put the work and emotions into their art, compared to an AI that does it without feeling, is stealing from others, and cannot think about what it is making just copy others, which produces a lot of what's already been done before or technically incorrect or inaccurate details
