while i’m no artist but rather a programmer, i have had my similar share of issues with ai. github copilot is an ai tool that will help you write code. however the question comes to how the model data is obtained, and essentially all code on github is fair game for becoming training models, regardless of the different licenses there are out there. furthermore because the user doesn’t know what the tool was trained on, there’s a good chance the code they use that was generated by github copilot is in conflict with their license
