AI is a useful tool but, like any tool, it can be misused. And, there are some tasks for which it simply is not suited. A lot of AI researchers and companies are touting it as a panacea, but it would behoove one to maintain a healthy level of skepticism.
Speaking specifically of ChatGPT, I regard it as an interesting exercise in applied AI, nothing more.
