These AI “artists” also hide behind the shield of “accessibility” for disabled people. I’ve personally met people who were physically disabled yet were talented artists that worked around their limitations (I can’t speak for everyone with physical disabilities, so lmk in the replies what y’all think). And even then, it’s infinitely better to pay other artists than to use AI. At least then, it’s an actual win win. You get the art you want, and an artist earns money.
Also, I hate that people call this AI. AI, imo, would be a machine capable of independent thought, reasoning, and logic… like, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. This “AI” has no intelligence to speak of. You feed it art (that isn’t even yours), input words as a prompt, and get an image based off of the countless references.
