If only there were larger cars that could carry like 40 people, they could travel on designated routes in areas lots of people go, communities could form agencies to own and operate these large cars. Oh wait, we already have buses. But tech bros ain't getting rich from buses, so they gotta convince rest of us to use their gimmicky, wasteful, more expensive option. Geo-fence Waymo so it can only fill in areas trains and buses don't go. If you're willing to walk a bit (which is great for your health) buses will get you about anywhere in many cities.
