Idk the automation of weapons doesnt take the poeple out of the battlefield. The essence of AI is that it has an automated thought (-like) process so there is the possibility of getting rid of soldiers in the battlefield. I think the technology will ultimately automate the war as it is already automating all the industries. Humans as said in the video are not meant to be perfect soldiers, we are emotional and all of us think for ourselves at some level. Maybe killer robots can fight our wars (it would really be like playing a video game like CoD but with political impact) maybe that's better until humanity matures and stop having wars.
