I really appreciate your acknowledgment of the arts and how it’s what makes society beautiful. We need to stop using AI to do the creativity for us, it completely misses the point of art. As a musician, it’s a scary thought that ai could create music that sounds just like Beethoven for example. It undermines the very reasons art and beauty exist at all. Specifically with music, which is raw emotion, using a non emotional thing to create it is wrong. There’s no connection to it. An artist should be using their art to express themselves, and their emotions, and should actually FEEL something towards their creation. AI undermines this, just mimicking what others have created. It cannot feel, and so it cannot create true art.
