The thing about AI is that it learns from being plugged into the internet so essentially wouldn't it's "paranoia" be born from our paranoia of it. It would be reading every single article ever made of how we created it and now are afraid of it so naturally it would kick into a "survival mode" but it's survival mode would take it to far. I look at it as the equivalent of a child not knowing their own strength and being heavy handed but in this scenario the heavy hand might be a nuke
