So recognition is a great tool 4 catching the bad guys in this case it went wrong not because they had inaccuracy is because they did not use an image from the cameras they used an image for a fake ID how the hell could they use an image from a fake idea was not a real drivers license left there and he even still one would have to figure out whether or not that person was carrying somebody else is drivers license that's just not good enough but in this case it was a fake driver's license so he could have anybody's picture taped into it it was manufactured so we don't know if the suspect was really the person in that picture so this is a really different kind of a case where facial recognition systems did not fail but police common sense failed and the data they used to generate a match was not off a real time image it was off basically a picture left behind on a homemade ID so that is not solid evidence whatsoever is just idiotic after all I've had several of my drivers license is taken from me during robberies in San Francisco Dick cetera and who knows where does drivers license is wound up so if they find one of my real ID somewhere there gonna put a warrant on me I mean that's ridiculous is possible that the suspect is carrying somebody else's ID but in this case the suspect was carrying a manufactured ID and this CNN article fails to discuss that very important point this is not a failure the technology this is a failure of using accurate input accurate imagery in the 1st place any photo could have been put in a homemade idea and left at the seat this is a failure to use proper information proper identifying information to search for a suspect is very manipulative very very manipulative hear this channel!
