Saddest part for me is that half of the ai speech is true. Nobody does like Democrats anymore because of the leadership of establishment Democrats. People are desperate for change. So desperate that they think MAGA is at least offering an answer while Chuck Schumer wants status quo. It’s funny how all the shit MAGA accuses Schumer and Jeffries and Pelosi of doing is in no way at all what they actually do. I would love it if they protected Trans rights and lives in this country. I would love it if they created clear pathways to citizenship for hardworking, taxpaying immigrants. I would love it if they passed legislation to raise taxes for large corporations and the wealthy to relieve student loan debt or make health care more affordable or invest in education or strengthen social safety nets but they literally have never done any of that. So on top of Trump implementing his fascist regime, i have to sit here and also look at the “other side” as they simply lay down and allow the average American to get fucked.
