Don't freak out too much. Most of the time when they show off Sophia most of her responses are scripted. They really try to trick people into thinking she can hold a conversation on her own, but the technology just isn't there yet. Hanson robotics has a hell of a marketing team though. (is it a she? Am I doing the robot version of anthropomorphizing.)
