Listen, Tesla is straight up pulling from Boeing's playbook. That 3% chance of a crash is worth the legal fees they'll face down the road. It's that simple. They know it's not 100% safe and they've calculated that the money they would have to pay for the lawsuits is outweighed by the profits they'll make from everyday business.
