I feel you…i'm studying communication design with my focus on print media, motion graphics, marketing and 3d modelling. i had to branch out already because i quickly realized AI would take over illustration and motion graphics jobs first. i did my mandatory internship at a small-ish business that does online marketing and publishes an online urban magazine. they hired me to work as an editor, do small journalism-related gigs, motion graphics and website maintenance. the more popular AI got, the more my boss wanted me to ditch the creative parts of the job and focus on website maintenance (which he hated to do because it's boring) and just use AI for writing articles or fake photos so he could focus on his pregnant wife and his private website project. he was very mad when i told him that i would still have to proof-read and tweak AI articles/photos because it meant i wasn't doing website maintenance. i hated it.
