It could suddenly go horribly wrong if humanity agrees to put its safety in the hands of a super ai. There is a graphic novel that currently has one volume out that covers this while also covering topics like intelligent extraterrestrial life, politics between instances of two different species of different origin, etc. The art is really good, and I would highly recommend it. No. This is not a promotion for it. This is just me taking a work of fiction that portrays one of many different scenarios from a super ai coming into existence, and putting it on the table. The novel is called 'Humanity Lost', btw.
