So much talking and the answer is so simple, when it comes to a solution for people losing jobs. We need the AUTOMATION TAX. If there is a robot doing a job of 50 people, then the company that has that robot working must pay an unconditional basic income for 50 people. Those tech companies make astronomical amounts of money, people lose jobs, and everyone seems to only focus on that problem, but nobody seems to think or talk about the obvious solution.
