I've come around to being open to considering what AI produces as art. But it's really crappy art. And it IS an inherently exploitative medium. So if you choose to use AI in your art, you communicate to your audience that your ethics are shaky, that your work is at best really crappy, or, you're just trying to scam people. AI "art," if you want to call it that, is not as cool as you think it is.
