It's more likely junky AI will wipe out the middle class via heart attacks because we actually have to use that trash. Automated customer service lines that don't work. Google answers that feed people the wrong answers. If you actually have to use this stuff, you'll find it's trash. Predictive text matched with a simulated human voice cannot solve problems. This is all a giant investment cash grab. When the money evaporates they'll all have plausible deniability because they were trying their best to make it AI work.
