I’m also surprised he doesn’t have a lot of concerns about AI, and the way it may atrophy people’s critical thinking and discernment of reality. Having spent an entire life pushing back against ignorance and pseudoscience, I’m really surprised he doesn’t think it’s going to get worse. Replacing the human mind is not the same as replacing horse buggies with cars.
