I find a lot of flaws in this video, one part is not linking to the original video which is a dead horse that for some reason people are still kicking! Another is just regurgitating the EXACT same reasonings others have already done. I'm 10 minutes in and I am not sure why I should finish the video, and 10 minutes should, as a "creative project", be enough to catch my attention. Some things like the "Shad's art was better" but they don't say that when the 9:11 picture shows up like a bad joke. "What useful, transferable art skills will someone have gained after a month of Ai artwork?" That depens if all they do is hit "generate" a thousand times, or if they actually try and make a work out of it, and even then, considering how Ai improves from year to year, it is becoming a skill! Learning Blender is differently as well so can't really compare it either. Blender is something you learn because of some passion, as a "Eh, I kinda want a picture for my fanfic" idea, learning Blender is a waste of time by comparison, and that is a lot of where I think "real artists" get pissy, because they spend hours, days, weeks, months, years learning a skill but why? Just to make money? I doubt most people starting out as "just scribbling for my own sake" ever get into an artistic job, some people have a limit to where their talents can get them, and at some points it's like an incremental game, first hour you get a lot of practice done, second hour is not as effective, and eventually you hit a ceiling.
