There's cheap wine made from artificial chemicals that alcohol junkies drink regularly, but it's existence didn't stop regular organic and/or high quality, prestigious wine from existing. My prediction is the same with AI art. As cheap artificial versions of art will become widely available and normalized, so will the public reception of it dwindle, and so regular and human-made digital art will hopefully become more prestigious in the eyes of the public. Just like fine wine.
