As an artist who uses physical medium and is absolutely useless at digital art, there are things about it that I envy, most of all I wish I could colour digitally. But, as evidenced by my uselessness, it IS serious artistic skill and comes with it's own caveats and difficulties. Comparing that to AI "art" is insane.
