AI is crap and we don't want it, it is being forced down our throats by corporate oligarchs in the race to beat other nations to some Orwellian vision of AI supremacy, I don't want AI to do everything for me, AI art, literature and music is soulless drivel, robot soldiers.....sure, better than dying in the desert for some crazy Republican or other FRW bastard, the dangerous to human existence versions confirmed as ultimately inevitable far outweigh the small gains offered from the get go, this is an open and shut case, the problem is the box is already open and our adversaries are not going to stop for altruistic reasons, so now we are stuck with it, however we do not have to robot micro manage our workforce, cyber over-govern or surveil our citizenry, both dystopian prospects are to be rejected outright.
