A simple click bait video made by someone that has a very superficial understanding of how LLMs work and keeps you engaged by telling half truths and showing only one side of things. AI is stupid. Humans are clever. When it hallucinates and seems dangerous it's just gone into a bad loop, it doesn't have memory it doesn't have a personality and it doesn't have a monster inside. When "The Monster" comes out is because the internet is full of crap and racist, homophobic content. It's true we don't understand their functioning completely though. But it's just a bunch of numbers and attention-based LLMs build with the transformer architectures will never gain consciousness as we intend it.
