See, that's the thing: PROFESSIONAL artists are not trying to prevent people from expressing themselves through AI, they're trying to protected themselves from people invading their market with tools that do not achieve anything good yet are flashy enough to convince a HR board to hire some idiot for a job they can't do. This is simply hurting everybody for no good reason whatsoever.
AI has resolved none of our problems, and the reason why it's being aimed at "creative" jobs is simply that whenever art is being called into the discussion suddenly everything is relative. You can't argue with tastes if a bridge is falling down. You can't argue with poetry if your taxes are wrong.
"Art" is simply an excuse for a waste of engineering that hasn't produced anything good, needs massive infrastructures and is only fuelling the current trend of speculation from a market that has ran out of good ideas.
