I'm a software engineer with 25 years experience. I have one of those CEOs that forces us to use AI for everything. And wants us to vibe code. I do not support vibe coding. I do support context engineering. I am very specific. I plan my programs and then I have the machine write the code. Then, I review the code. I come up with test cases. There's a lot of pressure to just use vibe coding, but I don't trust it as much as I trust my thinking. And my very specific instructions, and then I review it.And I do it a piece at a time, and it comes out better. So i'm not telling it to write a program.I'm telling it to write a function which I then in review and then I do the next piece and the next piece and the next piece. And that is quicker, and it does handle a lot of the simple stuff. And it gives me the ability to add my secret sauce to it.If you will
