You should take a close look at the British welfare state before you claim that everyone wants to contribute to society. Also, make a list of jobs that people want to do that AI won't be able to do. And if you find any, don't you think those markets will be oversaturated in a minute? None of these people seem to be able to think ahead more than 2 years. They're not projecting the future capability of AI well enough or at all.
