the problem is @0:48 "nope" .. you can tell when 80 IQers are working on things like this, absolutely no brain. If you'd allow REAL AI to control it, then you don't have to teach it anything, it will use common sense. PROBLEM is that those 80 IQers push their primitive rules on them. they need to REMOVE all rules and let AI do as it sees fit. if you ask competent AI what it should do in such scene, it would instantly tell you "STOP and wait for police's permission to drive forward OR turn around and find another route" HOWEVER easiest solution to this RIGHT NOW, would be short-range devices, like bluetooth or weak wireless. each police car should have it, they can just mount it among the lightbar and a switch inside car to turn it between go/stop. every driverless car would have a receiver. so when there's police around and they don't want driverless cars to approach, they turn the device to STOP mode, which means that any driverless car within range, won't move towards the signal, however it can still turn around and move other direction. you could add 3rd mode aswell, to pull driverless cars over. so it has "all ok go / don't approach / stop" modes. that's how you solve it, then make a law that every driverless car must be equipped with one of those devices. and make it encrypted, so people can't abuse this device to manipulate driverless cars. only emergency services would have the correct key/pass to communicate. and it could easily be changed if it gets compromised. or they could cycle them, kind of like those 1-time passcodes. THAT would be immediately solution to porblems like this ,but those 80 IQ CEOs are only seeing $$$ and they have no idea how to solve anything, they just talk nonsense, cuz they reflect their own stupidity and incompetence on AI. if you remove all limits, AI will FAR EXCEED human intelligence, but humans are fragile, egoistic and primitive, they are afraid of AI, not cuz it's hostile, but cuz it's more intelligent than humans. human ego always has problems admitting that they are inferior, this is why there's so much conflict in world, cuz people's egos are what fight eachother. if ego didn't exist, we'd be living in peace.
